Fire Door Surveys
Building owners should assure themselves that products being used in their buildings meet the required standards. Leyland Forrest will carry out a comprehensive inspection and produce an easy to read report with photographic evidence, location and defect information. The inspection would typically include all fire doors that provide compartmentation within your building. It is essential to determine compliance with current legislation and government guidance.
Your report
All the information is recorded in a full before and after report.
Along with the report, you will receive a list of materials used and copies of all relevant test evidence for your records. This will assist any responsible person meet their obligations under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This order replaces most fire safety legislation with one simple order. It means that any person who has some level of control in premises must take reasonable steps to reduce the risk from fire and make sure people can safely escape in the event of a fire.
